Radiators for my Little Demon engines
« on: July 05, 2017, 10:55:26 PM »
After failing miserably with the radiator design in the plans I decided to do my own. SO here it is it still needs a couple flashing's n the sides and be cleaned up. Here is a short video of it s far.

That's Great, Doc. I think it will look great with the sides on. I think maybe paint the top and bottom tanks and the sides but leave the core in metal?

Hi Doc, I make little radiators, about that size for my hot air engines, mine are a bit scruffy, but they work.
I wonder if with those side plates, could you fold them up with a larger radius, or are you using channel as bought.  With the larger radius you would only need to knock off the corners of the fins.
Don't paint the fins, the paint will reduce the efficiency quite a bit.
The radiator on this motor has a fan (12volt,ex computer).
