Simple nickel plating

I stumbled across these 2 video that I thought maybe of interest to a few members.

It looks like with a cheap shop bought kit reasonably attractive results can be achieved :-

I have used the Caswell plating on a number of occasions with reasonable success.  The plating is rather thin and can wear quickly but is fine for static parts.  All the brass pieces on this http://www.modelenginemaker.com/index.php/topic,4084.0.html engine were plated using the Caswell system.
