Needing info on castings

An acquaintance asked me if I knew anything about a set of castings he acquired from the estate of an engineering professor. All I have is the information from the title block on the prints which reads as follows:

H.P. type
Twin Cylinder Marine Engine
1/2 bore x 3/4 stroke
Design by WILWAU CASTINGS
Mains Lane
Milngavie
Nr. Glasgow
13/4/49
Scale Full Size

The print shows an overall height of 4 7/16" and the castings are gunmetal

Sorry no pictures at the present time of the castings.

He is especially interested in knowing anything about the company WILWAUCASTINGS

Anyone ever heard of them?  I told him I would run it by the folks here on the forum to see if anyone has heard of them

I believe that Blackgates http://www.blackgates.co.uk/  brought out Wilwau Castings when they closed.

If they did not they probably will be able to tell you more as they sold the drawings for some of the Wilwau designs at one time.
