Said goodbye to a friend today
« on: March 26, 2017, 12:03:03 AM »
Errol Groff was a friend....though I can say he still is I suppose.   He passed recently, and the world will be a lesser place because of it.

His Memorial service was today, and myself and many in the New England Model Engineering Society attended.

I'll miss his smile, his jokes, and his encouragement.

God speed buddy.

Dave sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. I recognize that name, he was responsible for a lot of those great pictures on the NEMES web site?

Dave

Errol was much more than that...besides being the web master, he was also one of the founding members, and a VERY talented man....

Very sorry to hear that Dave.  He always did a very nice job posting pictures of various shows.  My condolences to his family and the members of NEMES.

Dave,
Sorry to hear about your loss. I think I remember him from the NAMES show taking photos for the NEMES website and when I looked he'd posted two of my Upshur vertical single. I appreciated that he took notice of my engine.

Sorry to hear that Dave. He looks rather young too. Our community is small as it is, and every loss is therefore amplified.

Hi Dave,
I'm sorry for the loss of a good friend and member of our ever shrinking community. I really enjoyed seeing pictures from the various shows that he took. Godspeed.

Sorry for your loss Dave.

I didn't know him but a person who so influenced you and others is well valued.
