:o What have you been feeding those on Dave?

Pace yourself with that spade Dave, you don't want to do anyone an injury.

Hi Jo

They got the odd sprinkle of that Wilko ersatz Growmore. Couple of times I think.Seems to work ....

Anyway, got the rest of 'em in today. So, after a quick chorus of "'All is Safely Gathered In" I shall reward myself with a modest libation.  :)  Then a shower and a good glug ,,,  :DrinkPint:  or two .... 'cos I'm worth it' ..  ;D

The only edible stuff we grow is eaten by birds, bugs and sqirrels!   We are not gardeners.   That big fuschia bush gets cut back almost to ground level during our "winter tidy up" but grows like mad all summer. We leave well alone and enjoy the wild look.            Terry

Alas, mine own are but miserable and paltry specimens compared with yours.   A lacklustre collection, notable only for their lack of merit  :'(

Proof herewith:

Maybe you have managed to get the timing right Dave and yours will actually be Christmas Cacti rather than mine trying for Bonfire night.  ::)

5 ft in USA  :o In the UK it is, a rather smaller house plant  :( does it still flower around Christmas time?

I am told that Spider plants grow rather well outside (if they survive the winter).

Won't be too much gardening in my jungle for a while, just home from hospital after having a tumour removed from my top 2", and a bit of time needed to regain strenth again, might get into the workshop tomorrow, that will beat a hospital bed.

Ian

Here's wishing you a speedy recovery.

There's nothing better than some light metal therapy to help the recovery process
