Spring? Spring? Winter just started here, spring is about 15 months away (seems like anyway).

There was no malicious intention ... was going to take piccy about 12 noon-ish but the damn camera battery was flat ... YET AGAIN ...

Put it on charge then forgot all about it until later   :old:

Anyway, nothing to stop you nipping out into the garden, cracking off a quick flash or two and astounding us with the images ....

I await the results with eager anticipation ...  ....... all agog in fact ...  ;D

Last week they had a record breaking 19C in the middle of winter in mid Norway and the long term weather forecast there suggest NO snow this winter in Norway  :o
+ I heard earlier this evening that they expect 15C in Germany the next days - not much winter either ....

In that case - please send it directly to Norway !!! - and NOT to me in Denmark  ;)

Looks like your nice flowers are a bit premature Jo and Dave or is that normal in Southern England   I know that the West coast all the way up to Ulapool in Scotland can have Palmtrees etc. because off the Gulf Stream.

Yes they are early. Snowdrops are normally the end of February/March. Periwinkles March.

If the flower competition goes on a few more days I should have a Daffodil out  ;)

Yep. You have won for sure ...

No crocuses ( croci ? ) here. Did have some a couple of years ago but they got infested with that 'orrible black clover stuff and hence got a serious annointing with Gallup ..  :(

No primroses. Once had quite a few at a previous house but none here.

At <2oC this morning, no winkles worth boasting about. 'Peri' or otherwise ...   :embarassed:

Admiral ... I'm a bit nearer to Santa Claus than Jo. I live almost exactly on 53oN

At one company I w****d for years ago I had to visit Stranraer on occasions. Could be quite balmy on the coast but I didn't have to venture far inland or a couple of hundred metres upwards to discover the Gulf Stream's influence does not extend very far ...
