Biax scraper tool clamp
« on: March 11, 2017, 11:46:59 PM »
The clamp top for my scraper has gone missing.. probably didn't feed the elves enough cookies.

If someone has a Biax scraper, not a flaker, could you please send me a couple of pics of the clamp top? I need to make another one and I can't remember clearly what the tool-side pocket looks like. :embarassed:

I can't find a pic on Google, believe it or not!

Thanks,
Pete

Thanks Dave, but I need to see the 'inside' of the part more than the outside. All the UT I see just show the scraper assembled...

Does the info here help? Some dimensions:

Thanks Chris. I'll try to wrap my head around that.... might not compute though.

Bake up fresh cookies, leave a plate in the shop. Maybe the shop elves are just holding it hostage.

Hi Pete,
Had no idea what you were after, googled it.....ooooh nice tool!

That would take the pain out of scrapping ways or plates.

Cheers Kerrin

Well, I started the Benchmaster rebuild thinking I could do it by hand. But after getting it mapped out it became obvious that I was going to have to dig out the machine. I hadn't touched it for maybe 25 years, and in that time the tool clamp went for a walk. Probably didn't put it back on when I put it all away....

I'm looking at needing to scrape up to 6 or 8 thou in a few places...

Pete,

I have no means to post a picture. So Pm me your email address and I'll send you a picture. What model scraper do you have? And if you wish to keep things simple you can answer that in terms of blue, green, black bodied.

Hi,

Thanks. I thought I had to have a photo bucket or similar to post pictures. I've sent Pete some pictures to his email. Let's see if it is what he is after.

Steve
