What 3D CAM Package

I have been using 2D Cam successfully for some time now but my next project will need some 3D Cam, can members recommend user friendly programs that don’t cost a fortune.

The great thing is that it's free (for non-Commercial use) + supported.

I've been using CamBam for many years.  Support forum is excellent.  Not free but inexpensive and free to try out for a good long while.

I use Bob CAD at home and it works pretty well for me. It does have some quirks (don't they all) but has a nice selection of 3d tool paths. I have used Bob CAD for years and also have a 3d modeling program that I like Geomagic so I haven't taken time to play around with any of the cloud based tools.

If you are a teacher or student, all Autodesk products are free.
I'm using Autodesk Inventor HSM; integrated CAD and CAM.

I recently spent a couple of hours a day for 6 weeks learning Fusion 360. Well worth the effort.

The CAM is excellent.
