The picture was enough to know it was your elves that did it. They're lousy at presentation.  :lolb:

Bump; I've seen that on forums when they want to keep the thread alive  :lolb:. I think the fact that we even have a thread on this topic shows how much we've all become a worldwide family. We all know that the forum is all about engines, yet, it seems we all enjoy chatting up about our private lives, what's for dinner, and the such. Post your recipes here (sticky needed  :lolb:)

Cletus, there is more to life than building engines. Not much, but some :-)

In honour of shrove Tuesday it is Dutch pannekoeken tonight. Savory ones, like smoked salmon although I am sure there will be one at the end with chocolate sprinkles (hagelslag)

1 cup flour
2 eggs,
2 cups milk
dash of salt
teaspoon of vegetable oil
Mix together,

8" pan, scoop enough in to cover bottom, flip when done.

Amongst other things.  ;D ...pies, cakes, home-made curry, wine stock.

Oh...and engines.

Yeah.

Seeing things....

Maybe I'm odd (?) but I like to see peoples faces... I like to connect a face to what I'm reading...  That's one reason I have my mug for my avatar pic.

Don't get me wrong, I like seeing all the work and parts and stuff but connecting that to a face somehow means a lot to me.

Oh well, if you must ...  :headscratch:

Here's me, 1958, 14, with hair and without pot-belly.

I decline to humiliate myself with anything more recent.  ;D

The picture to your left is me.
Probably 3rd grade in France or 4th grade in Germany.
About the time I was getting introduced to the great science museums in Europe and my grandfather (who lived in Munich) and his shop.
i.e. the start of the wonder years.

Here I am a couple of years ago on a trip with T in Europe.
I love Europe. Having lived there as a kid, having a German mom, and a pair of German grandparents who were some of the most wonder people, made my childhood a great experience.

Hmm...I think my nose has grown since then. And the ears. Everything else seems somewhat smaller.
Sucks getting older.
The belly is T's fault.

But you're so tiny.  ;D You could be mistaken for one of Chris's elves.

Close ups! We want close ups!
