Seems someone is into trains, cow catcher and all. Congratulations! You're only a few laps ahead of me!

Bill,
I'm glad you enjoyed your dinner!  The picture looks mighty tasty!
My past experience with grits has not been good   .   But I'd almost be willing to try grits again based on this   ;)

Maybe it's an acquired taste Kim, but even for a southern boy, these were really good, even without the shrimp. Even better with them.

Hi Everybody,
Well it seems that the “Food channel” has been quite for a couple of months! Sure we are still managing to eat!
This morning I got dragged out for a walk with the promise of coffeee......in my book this is brain food....so I thought I would share some photos.....some even with an Engineering bent! The city has a walkway that runs along the coast from the port past our place & beyond so I figured I would bore you all with some photos!

Photo 1, the Bridge not far from us,

Photo 2, a photo of a painting on a nice sunny day with the mountain in the background

Photo 3, from the other end

Photo 4, the promised coffee!

Photo 5, the keen surfers, there were more to the right, looking towards the city, port & the island

Hope you enjoy.

Cheers Kerrin

Hi Chris,
It’s supposed to look like a braking wave, it’s pretty close. It has also won several awards for its design

Cheers Kerrin
