So it was fettuccine alfredo with garlic grilled shrimp tonight and an absolutely delightful bottle of Alice White Merlot from southeastern Australia: :wine1: :wine1: mates . Sorry no pictures; DOG had my iPhone

From a guy that is pretty far away from the south, how much of that little guy do you eat? Just the tail, like a lobster, or maybe more?

Crawdads in my old part of the world. Used them for bait.

I've never had a taste for it but I have to admit to being curious.
Might have to have something to drink first. That's how I managed some ant eggs.  ;D

Bill your right just getting started although I do have a lady friend with me.... :lolb:

Jim we put sausage with them also but the potato and corn are the best. They get boiled with the crawfish and soak up the seasoning. Which are our own Louisiana seasoning.

Now this is great food...  Fresh Haddock, right off the boat in Maine, right outside the restaraunt that is nothing but a kitchen with a window next to the fish market overhanging the water... Yum!
