Isn't that fun?  A whole day of shop time to look forward to and get lost in :)
Very therapeutic, not to mention getting some fun stuff done!
Enjoy Dave!

And with the weather that's coming his way...he may get some extra time in the shop.

OK....got the counter bores  and 0.093 holes in with my counterbore tool I made this morning

I caught an error on my part, and I caught it early enough to fix.   I have the holes in mirror imaged...

Before I cut the spark plug hole, I'll need to fix that....

I am showing you my Filing rest which drops onto my Aloris style post.    Very handy for making little tools like this

Also good for making small hex heads on bolts and nuts....

The rollers under the files are hardened, and you use a safe edge file.   Depth of cut is controlled by the micrometer in the vertical direction.

OK I got the valve pockets in    the pass through for the spark plug and the 3 hole bolt circle.

Now I need a fixture to hold this at 38 deg rotationally and 42 deg off axis....I'll do this in the Aciera which is equipped to do stuff like this easily

Fixture time!.....

Now the spark plugs calls out for a 8-36....which I don't have.    However, I just happen to have a 5/32 -40 tap and die....pretty damn close.

Any objections?

I dug out the glue chuck I used to machine the Wallaby oil pump, and faced it, and then bored it to a good fit with the spigot on the cylinder head.

I then cleaned everything with lighter fluid, dried it, and then super glued it on.   I'll be a wimp and put 1 2-56 screw in ......

First things first.....I need to adjust a 5/32 -40 button die to match it's tap....so a quick side project to do that...then I can proceed.
