Elmers #46 Coomber Radial Engine run video
« on: January 31, 2017, 02:45:10 PM »
Here is a short run video of my Elmers #46 Coomber Radial Engine.  It is self starting and can run easily on less than 5 lbs of air, increase the air pressure, and hold on to it!  It is a change from the more usual types of Elmers engines and that is why I decided to build it.  When it came to making the CAM, I just turned it in my lathes 4 jaw chuck and offset it twice to give me the CAM shape; nothing complicated here.  Now, I am deciding on which of Elmers great engines to build next!
