Jon's Shops
« on: December 29, 2016, 11:27:08 PM »
Posting some pictures of my shop(s).  When we designed our retirement home I laid out my main shop on the lower (ground) level to provide easy access for equipment and materials.  The shop was originally designed primarily for woodworking and includes built-in dust collection.  When I decided to add some machine tools I had to do some re-arranging and things are a little cramped.  The pictures show the shop set up for machinist work.  For woodworking, I have covers for the lathe & mill and roll the bandsaw, toolchest and grinder to one side.  The last 2 pictures are of the welding shop in an outbuilding.

That's a very nice shop and great equipment Jon. Thanks for posting.

As a lifelong wood worker, I also have a combined woodworking/machine shop also. Although, since I bought my machining equipment, the woodworking equipment hasn't been getting much use lately.
