Hoglet drawings
« on: November 20, 2016, 09:51:48 PM »
Firstly , thank you for advice concerning kick start return spring, i have now got the material just need to sort out heat treatment.
My question this time relates to the drawings publshed by  Model Engine Builder.
The drawing for the Crankcase Front shows the top edges sloping at 21 degrees to the horizontal.
However, the drawing for the cam housing shows the top surfaces sloping at 25 degrees.
The general arrangement 3D suggests that the slope of the top of the Front is parallel to the top surfaces of the Cam Housing.
I therefore presume that the 25 degree slope is an error - can anybody confirm or not?
Many thanks

Look closely at drawing sheets 1 and 6 both show the top of the cam housing at a steeper angle than the crankcase side plates. Try holding a rule against each line on drawing 1 and you will see it easily
