Thanks Kim, I've been breaking it in a bit more this afternoon and it will run steady at 5 psi now so I am happy with that given the small size of the flywheel.

Nicely done Bill!

Glad to see you were able to carve out some time to finish it.
It's fun being able to work with the vendors on their projects; curious to see what you are up to?

That's a nice running engine Bill. I really like that oiler up on top.

Thanks Jim and Dave. I will clean it up a bit and take it to work with me tomorrow to have on hand for the students next semester if they wish to see it. Theirs will be a twice this scale though.

Nice job Professor. Yeah you can show it to the students and say: "Look, it's easy; even an old man can do it, and at half the size" :mischief: :lolb:. Now you can devote the holiday time to the P&W.

Good point Cletus, but then one of them may challenge me to do it at half scale and I would have to prove myself  ::)

A belated thanks guys. Just sorry it took so long to finish, but I am glad to have it to show to the Junior students that will be working on the 2X versions beginning in the new year.

Tada! Lovely little Elmer. Great runner.
Now, if I could only convince you guys to turn the damn phone 90° to actually match the aspect ratio of actual video. It's 16 by 9 not 9 by 16. Getting too old to keep standing my 55" flatscreen on its end. :lolb:

Stan

Stan, the video is upright for me. Obviously it's sideways for you. How is everyone else seeing it? When I go back and view it on YouTube it is upright as well.

Puzzling!!

Its upright for me here, viewing on a PC. It would show larger if the camera had been turned on its side, but that depends on the camera/phone it was taken on.

Of course it's upright but only using 1/3 of the screen. From the beginning of time, movies and television have been oriented horizontally. I've been  trying to teach this to my brother for years but I still get cell phone videos in a vertical orientation.
Best,
Stan
