This looks like an awesome project. Anyone know if plans of original exist?

Hello Paul,

This is the only line drawing I have of the Fiat A12 engine. Sorry it is so small.

I think the photo in your post is the Fiat A.12 displayed at the Research & Development Gallery, National Museum of the USAF. Dayton Ohio.

There may be another Fiat A.12 on display at the New England Air Museum, Bradley International Airport, Windsor Locks, CT

Are any of these near to you?

There is indeed a Fiat A-12 in the New England Air Museum; or there was as of 2011 (see attached).

Hi Doug, Paul.

That's an interesting photo of the Fiat A 12 engine. If you look at the leading edge protection strips on the propeller, you will see it's a pusher propeller (assuming it's the original prop) That may signify the New England Museum engine was used on an airship; aircraft usually ( but not always) have tractor propellers.

Also, look at the cut of the exhaust stacks.

Seen a couple of days ago at the "Faszination Modellbau Friedrichshafen 2019" an German exhibition for model engineering.
The model was presented by an Italian model builder.

Kind Regards
Achim
