Brighton Atlantic class locomotive build
« on: October 10, 2016, 09:55:31 AM »
Hey

I just found that site where some people build a Brighton Atlantic class locomotive from almost nothing but the boiler!
Before I found it, i couldn't imagine anyone would do something like that!  :o

So, here you go:

New build re-creations of locomotive classes seem to be very popular now, there are probably a dozen or so ongoing in the UK.  Tornado https://www.a1steam.com/ has been very successful and this P2 https://www.p2steam.com/ will be mightily impressive.  I guess they are seen as revenue earners since they will be modified from the original design to allow them to be easily certified for running steam hauled specials on the national rail network.

Cheers,
