Finger Plates

I made a finger plate a long while ago but haven't had chance to make any clamps for it yet, so ...

let's see pictures of some of your finger plates and fittings!  :naughty:

Come on guys, I know some of you guys have made them so lets see some pics.

It's not exactly a finger plate but I find it more useful than the traditional design.  It can be used manually (e.g. in the drill press or bench vise) or placed in the milling machine vise.  Perhaps it will give you some ideas.  If you have questions, just give me a shout.

I'll hunt a couple of mine out later today and take some pics - be warned tho' - they are pretty primitive.

Here's mine; I use it often in the drill press and to hold little stuff for filing.  I put a hardened bushing centered over a v-groove on one end to center drill rods.
