Where the heck is Zee? He would have been all over this line of thought...!

 :lolb: :lolb: :lolb:

Would have.

When I saw the last post (making me realize there was a thread I hadn't seen), I went straight to the first post.
It was obvious...this was the kind of thread that would grow, sprout, and take different directions.

Always fun.

It's been more than once when I went out to the car only to get bombed by some goose flying by.
After going back into the house to clean up...I have wondered...what are the odds of it happening again?

On a totally different note...at one time I calculated the amount of droppings the world's flying birds produce in a day.
Must have been one boring day.

I wonder how much swarf this forum produces on a per day average.

Not a good question. How to measure? Poundage? Not fair...some members have an affinity for brass or steel.

Boring day? Not really. But very stressful.

Here's one for you to ponder...

Bird poo is almost universally white.  Explain why that is true.

Except when they are eating some of the berries around here, and it turns purple.

I am dreading where this thread goes now...

I have made a study of this.

Uric acid.

But keep in mind...I'm not a great study.

@Chris...you started it buddy.

My mother lived in an assisted living complex next to a pond and there was always a very large flock of Canadian geese leaving what the folks at the home called Canadian land mines everywhere. Never had much luck getting rid of them.  I always thought what they need is a good recipe!

For me it's not about getting rid of them.
It's about getting along with them.  ;D

I like them.

I do get a little concerned when I'm out doing a walk around the parking lot and discover one or two have decided to set up house.
It's not the one near the house to worry about.
It's the one off a little ways doing the watching and protecting.

Haven't gotten bit yet. But been chased.

One of the guys in the Rc boat group had a rc duck that would squirt water out its beak. One day he made the mistake of squirting the geese. One of them got mad, beat the stuffing out of his duck model, sank it, they never found it!

You really don't get along with Canadian Geese, you just deal with them.
They don't migrate anymore (at least some of them) they just hang out, make a mess, and generally just make a nuance of them selves; especially this time of year.

Wait a second. Are we still talking about geese? Or forum members?  :lolb: :lolb:
