Here you can get a sticky gel called Hotfoot, or Wingo it gets applied to areas like Jo's garage roof to stop bird perching there. It consists of a gel made of thickened vegetable oil and cinnamon, the birds don't like the feel of the gel, and the cinnamon smell reminds them not to land there.Ian S C

And if you want to get fancy Chris, maybe some orange glaze ... . No idea what compliments pigeon though.Bill
Pigeons. Guys, as a refined redneck foodie; if you are preparing them as a way overpriced fowl, they should be referred to squab, usually served with a hearty brown gravy/sauce and enough seasoning to hide the flavor . Chris, you say you guys (notice I didn't say y'all ) have had a dry summer; we've had the wettest on record (must be the election ) We had the invasion of Canadian geese a few years ago, they pooped their way across the South, but, we don't see them as much now. Armadillos are working into the region and Tennessee had its first cougar spotting not long ago. Guess that's how this whole big ball got to where it's at today, we're just smart enough now to notice and record Cletus
I prefer the air rifle approach that way you get a tasty sandwich to enjoy afterwards Jo
How cool. Let's see....there is a gaggle of geese, a pod of whales, and a pride of lions....not sure what a group of ducks is...but whatever it is I would say that qualifies!!
