 Willy, based on what I saw you do, with the English steam engine  model, from bar stock, any casting set, will be a "piece of cake" for you. I have not made the PM kit, you listed, but have made others, and think they are a good vendor.

Tony, Of all my stash of casting kits (which is one  :ROFL: ), I've chosen the PM #2 for my first casting kit build. I'll be watching your build closely.

At the time I ordered my kit, I also ordered the companion DVD that shows the #2 being built on a Sherline lathe and mill. That should help a lot in seeing just how castings are held for various operations.
