Beautiful work Bill.  I really like the fine work on the fins and the brass.  And it runs great.

Rudy

Jo, I'd be willing to bet that if Miss Vickie was a casting kit, she would be done and dusted by now, and living in a part of your house that wasn't full of machines.

Many thanks to all of you for the very nice comments.

Hugh, as you noted, with the exception of turning the flywheel blank, everything else was done on the Sherlines.

Lovely result Bill - I confess I didn't follow any build if you did one but what you have there is a great looking engine, beautifully finished and a superb runner to boot.

Don, Terry, Zee, Vince and Bruce...many thanks for having a look.  Bruce, I find Stirlings fascinating if only from the physics perspective...just how fast an enclosed volume of air can be heated and cooled enough to make them go round. They can be finiky, but good close tolerances are the key and absolute minimal friction. A quart of denatured alcohol and your good to go for many hours of fun. This is my fifth one, all are from Jerry's plans, but each one different.

Bill
