While I wait to get some more materials for a couple projects (hammer and a cutter & grinder) I knocked up this little helper for us old guys :old: Got the idea from a guys site but forgot which one  :facepalm:

Nice! I have a commercial version of this, and use it all the time. Great for getting the punch mark spot on!

Jo only had it for a week but used it 4 times already. I thought it would be a once in a while use but am amazed at the versatility

I have two of them. I purchased a mark - on and  I like it . I ended up making a second one just because I could.

Poly carb is used in optics but IMHO easier to use Lucite for the lens poly carb just does not seem to be as easy to get the lens right.  cork for the bottom pad works better than rubber.
