Yes that was my sideways "Simplex" engine on the Bradford club stand.

I spent six hours there today, and somehow only managed to spend £7 on tools, that must be some sort of record.

I am surprised Jo did not show a photo of what was in my opinion the best engine in the show, Mike Sayers latest Bentley Blower engine almost complete. This will certainly be winning best in show prize when finished. It is all carved out of billets of aluminium, no castings or CNC here.

And the special tool he made to produce the spiral gears for it.

Hi Phil, Eric didn't send me any pictures of Mike's engine. I suspect it was because he has sat next to it for so many years it is not something that is "new" or exciting for him  :ShakeHead:

A picture of your engine the right way up  ;)

I was also at the exhibition on Friday but didn't see you Jo. I took several photos that I'd like to add, I apologise for duplicates.
Phil - about the lack of pictures of the Bentley engine, you said the same thing about photos  taken at Harrogate last year.  It was difficult to take photos of the engine at both shows because it was constantly surrounded by admirers. I gave up waiting for the chance to take a clear shot.
