STUART H 10 CRANKSHAFT
« on: May 13, 2016, 04:15:02 PM »
Getting ready to braze my crank shaft but have one question. One end of the crank shaft has a counter bore in it, 3/16 Dia 7/16 deep in a 9/32 Dia shaft. Anyone know what it is for??

Stuart kit is interesting leaving off many dimensions for the builder to determine.

It's to enable you to fit a 3/16" dia shaft to drive a boiler feed pump at a later date if required.
