Glad to be here
« on: July 20, 2012, 01:32:41 PM »
Well it is nice to see such a great group of people here and I am happy to be a part of it.

I used to be Captain Jerry but I have been shore bound for so long that it doesn't fit anymore.  Nobody calls me "Cap'n" anymore so just "Jerry".

I hope this group grows into something useful to the model engineering community, for master and novice and everyone in between. It has already got a good core of people.  More will come.

Thanks for having me.

Jerry

Good to see you here Jerry  :)

It's going to take some getting used to Just Jerry, Cap'n  ;)

Kind regards, Arnold
Building an engine takes Patience, Planning, Preparation and Machining.
Procrastination is nearly the same, but it precludes machining.
Thus, an engine will only be built once the procrastination stops and the machining begins!

Just landed with a bump myself Cap'n.

Like a sea of familiar faces - feels like I'm swimming towards a liferaft abeam of the Titanic.
