Hi Robert, I may be telling my granny how to suck eggs.
I would consider a higher steam pressure as 20psi at the boiler will not be 20psi in the cylinder.
On my BAT build the boiler pressure was 60psi and measured pressure at the cylinder was 35 to 40 psi
cheers

:help: Quite some time ago I was given a link or some contact for a vertical boiler design by Sandy Campbell. The dope I am has caused me to misplace some of the design sheets and also who gave me the lead in the first place :hammerbash:
So if the kind gentleman or lady could give it to me again i will forever in their debt.

Hi Robert,

I believe that is our very own SandyCam....

If you go to the member list, and to his public profile, you will find this contact.

sandy - kate (at) wargyll. fsnet .co.uk

He is certainly the boiler expert around here....I suspect he'll be along shortly.

Dave

Edit Jo: Modified the SandyCam's Email address to discourage search engines picking it up. If you want to use the Email remove the spaces and replace the (at) with @.

As I am now starting the boiler I am thinking the posts ought to be in the Boiler section, so I will continue there.
