Hi  Mal & KIm,

thanks for comments I will start a build log shortly. Should be interesting to see what pitfalls I encounter and compare notes and solutions.
You've set me off on the next part Mal, I was considering buying the casting for the chimney saddle but after seeing yours I have decided to have a go. I'll probably solder in the two pipe sockets and the saddle to the chimney base. ( still practicing with the welder)
 So once smoke box door is finished that will be next up.

Hi Bob , would be good to start a thread on the Minnie ,as in for the chimney base I'am waiting on the cylinder before drilling any holes for pipe work so they line up, as for the blower pipe it will go in the side of the base. Bob ask away at any questions and we can compare notes .
