Glad to see this site
« on: July 19, 2012, 08:08:04 PM »
Hello - Ken here. Reformed woodworker, now working in metal a bit. Very interested in CNC and model engines, particularly scale models of small working engines - workshop engines as they were called.  I divide my time between Canada and the UK.

Here's hoping this site will be a great success.

Hi there Ken :)

Happy to see you on board !

Kind regards, Arnold
Building an engine takes Patience, Planning, Preparation and Machining.
Procrastination is nearly the same, but it precludes machining.
Thus, an engine will only be built once the procrastination stops and the machining begins!

Wood is the stuff I put in my wood burning stove - wherein I cook mystery steel from the scrapyard. Almost anyone becomes more malleable when threatened with a nice hot fire.
