Yes Willy, Saskatoon is the name of the city, named after the fruit-bearing tree know as the Saskatoon. It has traditionally grown wild across the Canadian prairies, but now with agricultural land being under more pressure, a lot of the wild bushes have disappeared and now there are a number of domestic farms where you can buy and/or pick the berries yourself. The berries are very sweet and much resemble blue berries. They make good pies and I use them to make some excellent wine. The history of this berry goes back to the Indians who used to dry and crush them and then mix with animal fat, then store it in leather pouches. The pouches were stored at cached locations where the Indians, when traveling knew the locations and stopped there for food.

So are the tubes expanded into the holes by a small boy inside the main large tubes or are they welded ??  Good stuff.......glad to see this still happens

Hi this is a book about boilers from 1920 ........an extra steam testers valve would be an interesting extra feature on a model boiler to introduce more realism........
