It is Jason who tells tales of woe about them and how he will never touch another set.... just before buying more to make model engines out of   :LittleDevil:

Not quite true, I just have the self control to say NO to whatever is on offer and just select the desirable ones. ;)

That set I started at the weekend I have already cut through a load of chilled corners, found a hole and the gap between the fork is too narrow:ShakeHead:

Do you have, or have you built any of my range?

Not yet, but I am being very selective in what I add to the collection.

As you know I have been offered many, many more than I have purchased. I only give homes to ones that are special, I don't do lots and lots of the same old type :hellno: I like them to each have their own new challenges

Alyn Foundry castings fetch a premium so Jo has selected not to sacriface too many moths on any of your products Graham. :Jester:

She has also turned down many sets of castings that were not offered at a bargain price :Jester:

Yes another of those back woods casting sets, maybe the Welsh casting wizzards could teach them a thing or two

Hi Jo

I can see a Stuart boiler feed pump, the no. 33 (well I did make one... ;D ) and I think a Stuart beam (no. 35). Ouch - well that is obviously a Victoria... (I mean - where is the beam...  :embarassed: )
But the rest -

Cheers Florian

Looks like no one wants to play guess the casting set  :headscratch: and Zee should know the first one.

The Anzani? Only by the name.
I recognize nothing.

I'm much better at other games.  :naughty:

Good attempt Dave  8)

The first one is indeed the engine that Kirk has been working on and I helped Zee out by providing a few bits of additional information :naughty: The second Anzani casting set is not for a single  ;) All the others that you had a guess at were right  :)

It looks like Jason will be able to have his go shortly the 24hours has little over two and a half hours to go

But these are only about half of my casting sets  :mischief: I decided that the others were a bit too difficult to guess unless you were an avid vintage engine collector.

See! Dangerous!

I guess I'm lucky not to be a vintage engine collector. Vintage yes...the rest not so much yet.
