Stew,
That's a beautiful looking tender!  The engine is looking good too :)

Sorry to hear about your bout with the medical issues.  Hope all continues on the upward path for you!

Hi Stew,

Now this is the real thing!

You probably know that I am building a Japanese locomotive and tender that has been pre-fabricated.

I am in awe of this masterpiece.

All the best on the health front.

The tender's looking great Stew and the engine too, well up to your usual standard.
I hope your recovery from the prostate cancer is confirmed as complete, I'm about a year behind you on the same treatment path and just started on the hormones.
Jim

Thanks Jim:- I've sent you a PM

Thanks Kim I'm feeling
a lot more positive than I was and starting to enjoy life

Thanks John:- I'll have to look up your thread on the Japanese loco. I was lucky enough to visit the Japanese national railway museum in Tokyo a few years back its a fantastic museum for anyone interested in railways, as well as the modern stuff they had a great collection of steam trains many of them in running order:- one thing that struck me about there steam trains was that they didn't have the clean lines of UK engines:- they had donkey pumps and vacuum cylinder and such like and other gadgets that I had no idea what they were, I suppose they were there to handle running specifically on Japanese railways.

Thanks for sharing Stew.

The cab is installed.

The wires you see trailing out below the cab are for the lights and the motor.
