How to search the site (or any site)
« on: January 08, 2016, 06:14:00 PM »
Members often remark that the forum search facility is poor - because it is.

Here's how to search this site or any other for which you know the url.

here is an example:

using Google and entering this: "horizontal twin site:modelenginemaker.com"  yields 110 results of which the first page usually contains what you are looking for.

Give it a try.

That's a good tip. I haven't used it yet, but sometimes I use a search engine (I use Dogpile) and this forum comes up if the topic is relevant, even if the site URL or name is not included. In that case, I often find other discussions that are valuable as well.

Perhaps this can be made a "sticky"!
