I'm a real junkie for machine shop tips.  To me it's the ultimate expression of ingenuity.

The senior dean of shop tips is Frank Ford.  He owns and runs a stringed instrument shop in Palo Alto and that work has really brought out his creativity in devising ways to make things simpler for the likes of us.

You're just like myself Marv, can't resist having a good root through someone else's things.

No matter what, you always find something that you can use or modify for your own use.

I actually reckon that a really skilled model engineer only knows a maximum of about 1% of what there is to know, so there is always something new to learn.

I already have that link in my favourites, and yes, there is a lot of good info contained therein.
