The town Lauf is very close to Nuernberg.
This time I will be there one weekend as a visitor only.

Dear Lady and Gentlemen,
last weekend started the show in Lauf, Germany, close to Nuernberg again for two weekends.
I have been there last weekend as a visitor for some hours, but didnīt  do to much pictures.
But for the friends of a workshop diorama I will have same specials here.
The following workshop from around of 1890, made by an Austrian guy with the name Franz Enzfelder (a really very nice guy) is really remarkable and should be shown to the whole world.
I have followed this project now for a couple of years and it is getting better and better.
All machines are making swarf the whole day at the shows.
I didnīt made a video by myself, but found a link to a mobile phone video which gives an idea about the things in motion.
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k88jvJO6DfU" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k88jvJO6DfU</a>
In my opinion an extraordinary project and still growing.
There are so much details, i.e. the chuck in picture 06, laying on the wooden shelf, is full functional and can be disassembled.
But have a look by yourself.
Kind Regards
Achim

Here are some additional details.
the whole workshop can by driven by an e-motor, by air or by steam with the boiler.
Mostly the e-motor is doing the job at the shows.
The drill press is so small but fully functional, the wooden table size is something of 50x50 mm.
Also remarkable, the wooden transmission wheels.

Another interesting engine, I have seen first time here, is a, in Germany offered, casting set for the "Benz Motorwagen" engine.

How big is the Benz engine? I can't really see anything to give it a scale unless that's an A4 paper in the last picture.
