Quote ‘And a must have bedroom window sill ornament’  is a disparaging remark about a fellow model engineers work, and not the kind of comment called for, especially from a so called moderator.
If any one of us described one of your models as an ornament I think you would not be pleased.
The joy of this site is it is open to all to share their work.

Mike to be fair to Jo I think that was a comment to a few of us that know she has been measuring up her window cills to see if she can get a plough to fit, think the last time I was down at hers I pointed out its too wide. Probably did not come across that well to the casual reader.

Yes as Jason said the other members from the Stratfield Saye traction engine group know it is point of amusement among them that I am looking to keep my balance plough when it is finished on my bedroom window sill. The problem is that it is will be 1" too wide for the existing sill and I am a little concerned about it scratching the glass when it is lifted up and down.

But what a view to wake up to every day :whoohoo:

Thanks all for the great pictures of the show. Quite a nice venue it seems and a wonderful assortment of some very nice engines, tractors, etc. Wish we could see some of the members that were in attendance though too :)
