1929 Maytag 92 Restoration Complete

This is not a model engine but a full size restoration. I finally got it running today after a few months. Very exciting to finally hear it run!

Thats a beautiful restoration of a desirable and very historic engine. I am sure you are both excited and proud to have it in your collection now.

Thank you Bill...now I'm hooked. I want to collect all the different models now!

Not as cheap as collecting baseball cards but it's fun!

Definitely not cheap, but sooooooo worthwhile ....rescuing these small engines and restoring them for future generations!!  How many different models are there??

Great job. I've always been intrigued by the "washing machine " engines.  Do y'all know of any castings or plans for barstock engines in model size?  Looks like a nice  model build .

Cletus...thank you.

I don't know of any plans but I do know that I will be taking my second Maytag-92 apart.

I plan on measuring every single part and creating detail drawings in SolidWorks.

When that happens I will gladly share the plans with everyone!
