That's a nice piece of kit. I'm looking to get something similar later this year but building one is beyond my skill so I'll have to buy  :(

after experience, I know it's harder to make a steam boiler than a steam engine

Yea I can understand that,  I've got the materials to make a small copper boiler and I think I can possibly make a very simple one but really I want something about 6" dia with fire tubes suitable for coal firing and to do that I'm going to have to buy one.

I haven't made a boiler yet (not counting the little 0-4-0 locomotive).
What makes the boiler harder to make?
Making sure it can take the pressure?
