This should be a nice, compact, engine. I'm curious about where the makers tapped off for power. In practice was one end of the shaft long enough to install a belt pully?

Pavel- I'm especially interested in this engine as I see that it was made in Syracuse NY. I'm about 15 minutes from Syracuse.
I did some research on this company and it's history. I could not find a lot, but did come to learn that the person who desinged it
was associated with Cornell College IIRC, as a proessor of mech engineering and started a company too make the engines and castings.
Actually, Syracuse had a lot of little start ups like this back in the day.

Hi Pavel,

Wonderful plate engraving of this engine above. It is motivating in itself to make you want to build the real thing.
Those old engravings were beautifully done.

This engine looks very efficient. You would wonder why they did not catch on in the mills and factories of the time.

Cheers...John

Hi Pavel, looks good. What was the running time of this operation ?
One corner seems to be very thin, what will be added there ?
Kind Regards
Achim
