As part of my instruction on grinding I made a 90-45-45 and a 90-60-30 out of tool steel, but not hardened.  Later I measured to find that my 45 degree wasn't.   :headscratch:

Now I have a cheapish set of angle blocks that are as precise as I need for setting things in the mill.  For grinding that fancy sine block is the choice.

Thus far my use of my old Taiwanese grinder has been looking for flatness and/or nice looking surfaces vs. accurate dimensions.
