I visited the show on Friday 14th, it is an excellent show with plenty of interesting models to see. Here are some of my pictures.

Thanks Andy,

I had heard that Anthony had larger version of the Williamson engine  and there is another there I don't recognise

I am being promised a few pictures of them when my supplier returns from the show. I do hope the castings are being provided by Polly Wobbles but I fear that Andy's lack of interest may mean  :facepalm2:

:headscratch: A couple of people have seen that we don't know what is causing it and can't repeat it to be able to track it down.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures.  8)

Any joy Andy with your photos?

Vixen's just pointed out to me we have two threads about the Bristol show. Would you mind if I joined this one with the other?  :???:

Jo, I don't mind the threads being combined if that's the rule. I didn't want to trespass on someone else's article or spoil it.

Andy it may be easier to upload to an external host like Flickr, photobucket, etc and just post a link to the album or slideshow

I too would like to see the rest.

it looks like you have a loop-back problem with your own server.
Do you run Linux, if so I had similar problems back a long and it turned out that it was a entry in hosts.allow file redirecting a bad link from a nasty cookie, cleaned out cookie and the ref in hosts allow and it solved it.
If it is Windows sorry I cannot help. :'(
There is a lot on Google.
I hope you sort it

Hi Trev, & Jason,  I am using Windows 7. I'm using my Ipad at the moment while resting after a session fettling castings - very messy! I'll try copying bbcode from Flickr when I'm on my pc later on although that didn't work either this morning.

This engine had been sold at the show but I wonder who the manufacturer was?

 8) Thanks Andy.

It looks like someone scaled up Anthony's Stothert and Pitt Beam engine.

Some good models thare Andy, I like the cyl boring machine and the saw and Anthonys latest creation looks interesting. Good to see there was an otto for you to get some ref photos of, was it running as it looks suitably oily?

J

Oh and a nice 1/2 scale gade ;)

Hi Jason,
the Otto engine wasn't running during my visit, the majority of the exhibits were static. I'll have a look at the few videos I took to see if it's worth editing them together for another post.

I have been sent a few photos of engines. This Ferrabee Pillar Engine didn't seem to be in anyone else's pictures.
