Sadly :disappointed: a nudger is still on the "must make list".

I had been meaning to make one for quite a while -ever since Bogs first showed it on another forum - and finally got around to it.  Glad I did, it's a real timesaver.  Sure beats the old method of setting up the indicator, spinning the chuck, tapping the part, spinning the chuck, tapping the part again...

I've used the back of a boring bar as a nudger....but it eventually scars the part....and if your chuck is too tight to start it can scar it bad.

The bearing is the way to go.
