Coolspring Flame Ignition Expo - pictures
« on: June 20, 2015, 06:31:34 PM »
Just got home from the Flame Ignition Show at the Coolspring Power Museum. Wow!
Just getting though the 30+ buildings was amazing. Then there were guys selling engines, parts, etc.
The Snow, running in its own building, is quite something to see.
Some of the MEM guys (Bobsmodels and Jimsmodels) missed the group picture as they were muscling a few engines around. Some had long drives home and left early.

Stan,
That's a nice bunch of photo's. I must admit that when I was there 10, 18, 2013 the building for the Snow only had two walls.

Hi Stan
It was nice to be able to meet you and have a quick visit.

That is Marvin Hedberg (Marv in Minnesota) on the left and Roland Morrison (RolandMM) on the right.
Sorry Jim, Bob, Paul & Chris couldn't make the picture.

I will try to post some pictures when I get home.

The show was everything I had expected, maybe more.

Likewise, Dave. Good to finally meet you in person.
Even though I have 1/4-28 Dave Otto style nuts, the big one in the picture is sitting on a shelf over my bench.
Best,
Stan

It was a great show - very impressive engines.

Sorry I could not stay for the meet/photo, maybe you can photoshop me in as one more 'wingnut'....!
Hope to see all you guys at next Cabin Fever.

I just got back late last night from the show. Loooong drive. It was a great show, and had a really good time despite the rain.

Thanks for the pictures Stan, I took my camera, but didn't get to use it. Lots of great shots.

Here is another picture of the MEM crew!

I had a wonderful time; got to have dinner with Maury and his friend Dave on Thursday evening. I wish that I had more time it chat with Stan; making plans to go to NAMES next year so maybe we will have more time to BS!

Coolspring is such an amazing place; give me a day or three and I will try to get some pictures posted.

I am just catching up after being out of town over the weekend myself Stan. Great pictures and nice to see that MEM was well represented. It looks like a wonderful place to visit and I hope to be able to go one of these years before too long. Thanks for posting the slideshow!!

My friend Irish Dave pointed me in the direction of this video which shows a lot of the engines at the show in action.
