I think you have me confused with:

 Homes's law is an empirical relation that states that a superconductor's critical temperature (T_c) is proportional to the strength of the superconducting state for temperatures well below T_c close to zero temperature.

My attempted pun of the relationship between Holme and Ohm has led down unknown paths. Prior to you enlightening me, my only knowledge of a superconductor was those who worked on public transport and managed to give you the correct ticket and/or change.
