« on: April 10, 2015, 01:24:42 AM »
OK, new thread for pictures as they become available. I will kick it off with one from dinner tonight...left to right...sshire, b.lindsey, dreeves, and maury. Will look forward to seeing more of you tomorrow once the show gets cranked up!

Anyone with CF pictures from 2015 feel free to add them to this thread.

I used to have a Delta surface grinder just like that one.

It's kind of sad to see models auctioned off but I guess that is the way goes for some of them; hopefully mine won't meet the same demise.

And that is me, right behind Dave, behind the waiter bringing  our dinner- I wanted to eat before drinking!

It looks like its going to be another great show- Gary said they had a ton of stuff for auctions all day Friday and Saturday. And looking at the vendors unloading this afternoon we will have lots of good stuff to look at.

Here are some pictures from today...still more members will be arriving this evening and tomorrow. We hope to have 25+ for the group photo tomorrow afternoon.

Walking around this morning before things got cranked up Stan and I spotted this neat arrangement...an IC engine powering a compressor which in turn powered two small air engines.

dreeves holding g.britnell's crankcase for the Flathead V8

Only a few of George's (g.britnell) beautiful collection of engines

George and Stan (sshire) chatting earlier this morning.

A closer view of Georges Ford V8 (not the flathead)

The MEM display as it was today.

Stan's RE with it's excellent finish.

More to follow...I am going to post these before I lose this post...the wifi here leaves something to be desired.

Here's an unusual machine, and, I believe Brian hasn't built one (yet)

Steam engine drives pizza slicer.

I didn't see it in action but maybe a video tomorrow?

Cheers,
Phil

Here are some more, neither wifi nor photobucket is cooperating tonight so less commentary in the hope of getting the rest posted...

dreeves display as well as his latest addition which I will let him describe.

Kirk (kvom) and his Joy's Valve engine ... as nice as it is massive

A couple of shots of George's more miniature works (the metric scale is for our more metric oriented members)

Still more to follow...

The next few are of some nicely blinged up models.

The finally for today from dinner tonight Mr. & Mrs. Mosey

Re: Photo #10.....

Please identify the green, two-cylinder, stationary engine that was built by Doug Kelly?  Fairbanks????  Is it a kit?....bar-stock design?....do drawings exist?

Frank, it is a Bates & Edmonds. Doug has drawn it but he said the plans are not yet available. It is a bar stock engine, not from castings.
