:-\ I just had conformation another two members are not going to this show this year.

So decision time: Cancel the MEM stand and be able to watch the F1, or struggle again like the first year  :toilet_claw:

That's a shame as I really enjoyed it last year.  I'm still planning on making the Saturday.

Whatever happens I will be there on the Saturday as well  ;).

Eric and the IC builder group will still be at the show but as usual they don't plan anything until the weekend before the show  ::)

P.S. Simon: I was assuming I might see you before the Guildford show  :mischief:.

You guys need just ask and perhaps we US bunch could save up and sell soda pop bottles and finance a trip over to fill the table.  I'd love it  :DrinkPint:

Would love to see you Big E, it is just a shame that the UK members are not as enthusiastic about letting others appreciate the models they have built as you guys are over the pond.

Jo,

I'll be there.  I can add the Dyno into the mix from last year.

Cheers,

Rod

:'( The stationary engines are down to only 5 tables this year at the show including our own very small display  :-[.

Sadly I suspect that the Guildford show may be heading the same way as so many others, not helped that they were forced by the local council  to book it for the Silverstone weekend  :hellno:

What are you classing as "stationary engines Jo? and is that just 5 of the tables around the outside or including the middle tables?

I expect they can fill the gaps with locos anyway ;)

Does not answer my question.

Why only 5 tables, whats happened to things like the stirling engines, Tony Boxall, Mike Sayers, jet engines, other iC engine guys, assume AM is not going to be there.

Tony is bringing his 13 engines. Mike is currently touring Europe in one of his vintage Bentleys and has not got back  ::) The wife of the Jet turbine club organiser is not well so they have pulled out. Mike Tull is coming  ;D AM is hiding from anyone who brought a casting Set from his alternative casting supplier has "retired"

And I am so far behind  :toilet_claw:

Just the one photo for now, more to follow probably tomorrow. A slightly depleted MEM display but as they say its quality not quantity that counts ;)
