Now y'all are making me all jealous. I  have a very dear friend that is having a very hard time health wise and has requested that I personally prepare the food for his 70th birthday on  that Saturday night.   Normally I would have said that I was going to be out of town, but,  it's so serious there could very easily not be a 71st, so, I'm cooking.  I am going to miss all of you guys and was looking forward to meeting some of the greats that have said they were coming this year.  For those that didn't attend the Saturday night  dinner at the White Rose last year,  all I can say is don't miss it this year. I make my living with food and their's ranks with some of the best I've ever had (and the scenery ain't bad either  )  Maybe y'all could send Zee over a little early to work his suave and persuading ways ( Lou says they are good, just not as good as mine ),  so you don't have as long of a wait   Vern, just make sure you get someone that knows how to take a picture ,  cause I would like one to frame and hang in the shop . Bill, I know you are going to miss spending my money,  but,  I may be able to do something about that  . . Mosey, I ain't gonna be there to keep you straight and you keep an eye on old Don, he'll have you in the crawfish,  boudin, and metal polishing business  . Damn, I am gonna miss this  . Oh yeah,  would someone just get me George Britnell's autograph . Have fun guys, I'm gonna miss y'all..

No holds barred now. Too bad we, that is, she's, got to wait a year.

Just as well though. There's a chance T is coming along and I'll be busying working my suave and persuading ways...to stay out of trouble. 
I suspect she won't though. I do believe I hear her mumble something like "what the hell am I thinking?".

If the reservation took...I'll be at Best Western and will be joining everyone for Saturday night vittles 'n' beverages.
I'll be there at 3 for the family picture.
