Half scale excellence
« on: January 27, 2015, 04:31:16 PM »
Hi Guys - I've just been sent this video of the latest 'manifestation' from the workshop of my good friend Chris - that well known Lurcher (Modelsteam) - 'manifestation' because he seemingly just conjures them out of the blue ::)

http://s1020.photobucket.com/user/modelsteamphotos/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-01/20150127_112746_zpsq9wggsud.mp4.html

Take a look at it - two engines since last July and both working to perfection - both scaled to half the size of the original drawings and entirely built from stock.

Brilliant work Chris   - looking forward to seeing them in the flesh soon. At this rate you should have at least another two done before Forncett ;)

Hope you guys enjoy them as much as I have

Regards - Ramon

very nice Chris, particularly like the little Mac. Just goes to show what you can accomplish is you don't spend all your time on the net :-[

Congratulations Chris.  Very nice engines.

Two engines since July.  How do you manage to do that?

Never fear Jason it was well meant and a private joke based on a previous post :)

Guys - since I met Chris at Forncett in 2013 we have become real good friends. Don't read anything sinister into my posts - we have our own brand of humour and laugh an awful lot together. Chris is a superb engineer and great model maker - I'm proud to be able to call him a true 'mate'.
