Mendocino Motor
« on: January 28, 2015, 08:57:57 PM »
As a bit of light relief and a break from the Snow engine, I wanted to make something quick and simple.
I had seen these levitating motors a while ago and bought the solar cells.
I am not sure if this is the sort of thing to put on the site or where it belongs.
I have attached some photo's if anybody is interested.

As part of the post above, here is a video.
It was too big to post on the original post.

Hide quickly, the Pun Police are looking for you :ShakeHead:

Like your motor, well done. I've got the magnets in stock not the solar cells... one of these days

Cheers, Joe

Hello,

I still cannot make the video work, is there a particular format required.
I took the video using the camera on my ipad then attached it to the post.
Any advice would be welcome.

I generally have problems with videos as well. My solution is to upload them to youtube  and then add the link (Instructions exist in the Engines section of showcase). If you get it wrong one of the kind moderators/administrators with usually sort it out for you  :)
Best regards

Tony,
That's very cool, thanks for posting.  That seems like it would have very little friction to it.

Cheers,
Phil
